Position 1: SEO Intern

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform keyword research for news articles, startup stories, and trend-based content

  • Optimize news content for On-Page SEO (headings, meta tags, internal linking, URL structure)

  • Understand and apply Google EEAT Guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)

  • Study and analyze News Aggregation issues & challenges (duplicate content, crawlability, indexing, freshness, authority signals)

  • Assist in improving Google Discover and News visibility

  • Monitor rankings, impressions, and performance via Google Search Console & Analytics

  • Support basic technical SEO tasks related to news websites

Who Can Apply

  • Students or freshers pursuing or certified in Digital Marketing / SEO

  • Strong interest in content-driven and news-based SEO

  • Willingness to research and learn Google algorithms deeply

Position 2: Social Media Intern

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily posting on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Facebook

  • Create captions, reels ideas, carousel content, and breaking-news creatives

  • Track trending startup, tech, and business topics for timely posting

  • Engage with audience comments, DMs, and discussions

  • Assist in planning weekly and monthly content calendars

  • Monitor performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth

  • Good writing and communication skills

  • Understanding of social media trends and virality

Position 3: Graphic Design Intern

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design news creatives, social media posts, thumbnails, banners, and infographics

  • Create visually engaging graphics aligned with STARTUPNews branding

  • Support social and editorial teams with quick-turnaround designs for breaking news

  • Edit and resize creatives for multiple platforms

  • Maintain visual consistency across all digital channels

Tools Preferred

  • Canva (mandatory)

  • Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator (good to have)

  • Portfolio (academic or personal work) is a plus
