*Position Overview*

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven GMB SEO Intern to join our growing team.
The GMB SEO Intern will support the digital marketing and SEO team by optimizing and
managing Google My Business (GMB) profiles to improve local search visibility, customer
engagement, and lead generation. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on
experience in local SEO, online listings management, and search engine optimization
strategies.

*Google My Business Management*
• Assist in creating, verifying, and optimizing Google My Business profiles
• Update business information (NAP: Name, Address, Phone number) for accuracy and
consistency
• Add and optimize business categories, services, products, images, and videos
• Publish GMB posts (offers, updates, events, promotions)

*Local SEO Optimization*
• Perform local keyword research and competitor analysis
• Optimize GMB descriptions and content using relevant local keywords
• Support citation building and ensure consistency across online directories
• Assist in improving local map pack rankings

*Review & Reputation Management*
• Monitor customer reviews and ratings on GMB.
• Draft and respond to customer reviews in a professional manner.
• Report fake or inappropriate reviews when necessary.
• Encourage review generation strategies.

*Performance Tracking & Reporting*
• Track GMB insights (views, searches, calls, direction requests)
• Prepare weekly or monthly performance reports.
• Analyze trends and suggest optimization opportunities.

*Preferred Qualifications*
• Experience or certification in SEO or digital marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, or similar.
• Familiarity with Canva or basic design tools is a plus.
• Understanding of CRM systems and lead nurturing funnels.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
